The Kuhn organ in the Neumünster church in Zurich
There are probably few church organs that have such a colourful background as the Kuhn organ in the Neumünster church in Zurich - a 130-year history in which concerted efforts and fortunate circumstances have combined to produce the aesthetically, acoustically and technically superlative present-day instrument. A historical organ has emerged in which the old and the new have been uniquely amalgamated to create a Gesamtkunstwerk (total art-work) whose future has only just begun, for in its present form, the organ in Zurich‘s Neumünster church is not yet ten years old.
